Hrdlicka & Moro Law Firm, PLLC was originally formed by Robert P. Schirmer, Esq. and Albert F. Hrdlicka, Esq. in 1973. The partnership they formed was Schirmer & Hrdlicka. It remained Schirmer & Hrdlicka until a new partner was added, Edward E. Strohsahl, Esq. The partnership then became Schirmer, Hrdlicka & Strohsahl, Esqs. until becoming The Hrdlicka Law Firm, PLLC in 2011. Albert C. Hrdlicka, Esq., son of Albert F. Hrdlicka, Esq. became a partner in 2001. Robert P. Schirmer, Esq. retired from the partnership and the practice of law in 2001. Edward E. Strohsahl, Esq. retired from the partnership and the practice of law in 2008. Lisa A. Moro joined the firm in 2012 and became a partner in 2022 at which time Hrdlicka & Moro Law Firm, PLLC was established.
Albert F. Hrdlicka, Esq. graduated from Union College and Albany Law School. He held a position as an Assistant District Attorney with the Ulster County District Attorney's Office and was a criminal law prosecutor. He spends most of his time handling commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate planning for individuals, preparing wills and trusts and administering estates in probate court.
Albert C. Hrdlicka, Esq. graduated from Swarthmore College in 1994 and Albany Law School in 1998. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 1999. He held a position as an Assistant District Attorney with the Ulster County District Attorney's Office and was a criminal law prosecutor for almost 13 years. He has spent most of his private law career handling commercial and residential real estate transactions, estate planning for individuals, preparing wills and trusts and administering estates in probate court and representing clients in criminal matters such as traffic violations and DWIs.
Lisa A. Moro, Esq. graduated from Russell Sage College in 1994 and Albany Law School in 1997. After working in the legal field in Berkshire County, Massachusetts for a couple of years, Lisa returned to Ulster County where she has been involved in various aspects of the real estate industry for over 20 years. Her practice concentrates on representing various local and national lenders as well as buyers and sellers in residential real estate transactions. She is a member of the Ulster County Bar Association, Mid-Hudson Women’s Bar Association, and Mid-Hudson Valley Mortgage Bankers Association.
